A conversation with a Swede

Forward Note: I wrote this a couple of weeks ago and had planned to post this conversation this week, although I’ve been running a bit behind. As fate would have it, not only did current events preempt me once more but also have my own experiences illuminated a broader picture.

Calmly awaiting the beginning of the lecture, the young exchange student here on a swimming scholarship struck up a conversation as she normally does. Friendly enough, but as with most people in a professional setting, I don’t care much for individual opinion especially from those with little clue about the real human nature, the nature not usually told by social academics, the nature of warring tribes, not the phony Marxist Conflict Theory stuff undergrads are bombarded with elsewhere.

” I was talking with my mother the other day…” she began, as most impersonal conversations would.

“I was telling her about what you said last week, about sabotage being a common terrorism that goes unnoticed, small scale warfare, and all of that.”

“Oh, yeah. What’d she say?” I asked out of curiosity, not really caring that much.

“She told me about the car burnings…car burnings everywhere, all over Sweden, every night.”

“Yeah, it’d be reasonable to label that sabotage.” Replying as dryly as possible.

“Well, she was telling me…” painfully trying to mince words, “…our neighbors who moved in six months ago in Goteborg…the Police took them! She told me that Ahad, the halal market owner, told her that he heard a rumor…that they were suspecting our neighbor of burning cars, and that they were going to deport him!” with a rising anxiety in her voice as if to signal a certain Stockholm Syndrome. The irony.

“Well, that’s one response.”

“Before I left, they had moved in two doors down. I never saw his wife outside but he was always very friendly, he told me he fled killings in Pakistan, how horrible it was there. Why would the Swedish government want to return him to that? Him and his wife? Why do they not believe him?”

“I dunno, I’m not a Swede. Why should they believe him anyway, especially if he’s indeed guilty of burning your cars?” Trying painfully not to give the answer I wanted to give. Let’s let her come to the answer.

“But I don’t think he did…he’s a nice man?”

“You don’t think? Or you don’t know. Quite the difference.” I calmly stated, with as cold a stare as I could muster. “Obviously people would never lie to you.

She looked at me for a minute, dumbfounded. The other students were now paying careful attention to our dialogue.

“You’ve been rather vocal concerning feminism in this class- you stated you never saw his wife. Ever wonder why?”

“…um…”

“Do me a favor, think on that, and look up Sweden’s crime database, the bra.se, and reference the sexual assault rates. Note the data for 2016 has not yet been published. Pay attention to the 70 or so percent of rapes being committed by strangers. That’s not the norm anywhere else as you pointed out in your own paper on campus sexual assault; we can safely label that a statistically significant indicator. Compare to the years of the migrant settlements. Now we have correlation and time order, two of the things required to establish causation. Civilizations can be sabotaged too, you know. And remember, numbers don’t lie, people do.”

She was silent and turned red while she gathered her things. Standing up, she quietly exited the classroom. The truth is hard to handle for some.

“…anyone ever heard of AQ Khan?” I asked, met with the normal blank stares…

You may have planted a seed of truth in that young lady.
Thank you for letting her know.

Thomas, with all due respect that’s giving the little bint too much credit for cognition. Anybody who has been brainwashed by liberal academe for long enough has had their brain flushed of any ability to recognize the intuitively obvious or engage in critical thinking.

  3. The Europeans just don’t realize how the picture of pretty young things holding a “Welcome Refugees” sign plays in burkaland.
It screams “Come rape me!” to a muslim.

Perspective from a former lefty: She will probably go into denialville if not already there. The audience listening in to your words are the ones who count. Some of them will be slowly swayed to your position.

True. They stayed. She did not. (I guess that was too much truth for her to handle at one time and she needed to get to a “safe space”.)

Whenever I see that photo of the “Refugees Welcome” sign, displayed by young women whom I can only regard as ignorant and foolish, I feel extraordinarily sad: pissing away a civilization.

      1. The Gods of the Copybook Headings- by Rudyard Kipling, 1919

AS I PASS through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
        They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
        They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “Stick to the Devil you know.”

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “The Wages of Sin is Death.”

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
        By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “If you don’t work you die.”

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
        And the burnt Fool’s bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

      2. So many Academics these days dismiss Kipling- I contend it is due in part that he spoke timeless wisdom.

the young lady learn nothing, she is the one holding the “refugee welcome” sign.
Very few women will actually pick up a weapon to fight alongside her man, they will have no problem being the property of whoever wins the fight. There instinct for survival is too strong. They invite the terrorists into the communities because of there feelings of humanity, to help out the disadvantage.
Even my wife and daughters are liberals and like to help foreigners, something I never taught them, if not the opposite. Its just how women think.
Someone pointed out, theres a reason the founding fathers didnt allow women to vote, they just aren’t violent enough to protect the community. Violence is what keeps civilizations from being invaded and taken over. This not rocket science, this is just knowledge even cavemen knew and practice, they always chose the strongest, bravest, most violent man to lead them.
I see nothing good for sweden, not enough brave men and too many non violent women. The women will win out unfortunately.

    1. Whether she herself learns or not is irrelevant. I’m pointing to a larger truth.

However, as Aquinas noted on Law, “whomever has care of the community…” makes Law. Indeed.

You obviously don’t live in Idaho! Don’t ever say that to a woman in Idaho!

I’ve been watching quite a few “MGTOW” videos on Youtube lately, and they’re very interesting from a human / inter-gender relationship perspective. A few of the guys I’ve watched – Sandman and Howard Dare to name a couple, really interweave some good explanations of how female behavior has created the Sweden situation into their talks. The men are complicit in this – and the short explanation is that they let their little heads do the thinking for them.

The founders didn’t let women vote – so they were much more DIRECTLY dependent on men – rather than the dis-associated “men” that have with the big government welfare system of today.

I’m coming around to the conclusion that one of the vital pieces of turning this around – is going to be men delving deep into the shit in their own heads – and realizing that their bowing to the wishes of women may be a very large part of what got us to where we are today. In the end – the REAL fight – might be right in front of your face and living in your own house.

Watching this stuff reminds me of something a buddy of mine’s brother went thru after Obama got elected the first time. Sitting around the dinner table the day after the election – the topic of who voted for who came up. Even though they knew damn well what his opinion was – both his wife and his two daughters both admitted they voted for Obama. Right then and there – he told them they were cut off. He refused to pay his daughter’s college tuition – and told the wife she didn’t get any more money from him. Apparently (the way I heard the story) – was this caused a MAJOR blowout – and he slept in the basement on the couch for a good couple of weeks.

The refusal to pay the daughter’s college expenses was the real sticking point for both the daughter and the wife – and they made his life miserable because of it. The way I heard the story – was that the battle went on for a good 3-4 weeks – and he eventually backed down. Don’t know how well he made his point – I never heard how they voted in the next election and/or what their (the women’s) attitude is today , but if the story I heard was accurate – it was a good fight while it lasted.

Many of the founders lost everything in their fight – maybe the parallel argument in the here and now is : how many men are willing to go up against their wives to save the country and the culture?

If you can’t battle it out at home where it counts – what good is the rest of it?

    4. ** Violence is what keeps civilizations from being invaded and taken over. **

Note the deliberate choice of “helplessness” on the part of Merkel when foreigners present themselves at the German or other European border. They are there so they must be let in and taken care of. Mr. Land Mine, Mr. Barbed Wire, and Mr. Machine Gun are never, EVER considered let alone employed.

Thus, Europe falls to the barbarian horde. Betrayed.

  7. I’ve had conversations with a Brit and the only thing that bothered him was me casually stating Europeans will be extinct within a couple generations. Casual dismissal of whatever virtue signaling they do and telling them to look at the bright side the Europeans won’t be around to bother anyone after 3-4 generations at most and they start to get uncomfortable. Good news is that someday maybe another more fit people can reclaim Sweden by force. The cycle will begin anew then. I simply don’t care anymore if people are unwilling to protect themselves. You’re asking for dead bodies in the streets and now you’ve got it. You’ll get no sympathy from the ones you demonized who were trying to save your culture. The most useful thing they can do at this point is be human fertilizer for whoever reclaims Europe. Let the green grass grow.

Make no mistake. What you said to her did, very much, make its impact. The seed was planted and will sprout at the proper time. It happens this way far more frequently than suddenly turning someone around in an instant.

    Very well played!

I have to agree, I have been hammering on people for a good many years – and I have seen the change come in a lot of them. It can take a LONG time – and it gets wearing to constantly keep at people, but it does work.

IMHO the key is to somewhat tailor your message to the person you are trying to enlighten. Going crazy on somebody only makes them shut down. Looking for the cracks and driving in a wedge is much more effective over time.

  9. Interesting.

I am reading John Mosby’s new book ” Forging the Hero” and one of his points is that many civilizations are collapsed by immigrants coming into a country and nor asimulating into the culture of the adopted country.

We see it in the EU and of course in our own back yard.

On another note, the EU is the canary in the coal mine. Keep your eyes focused eastward.

    1. Not adopting customs and practices is exactly how cultures decline. Historians (what JM has a MA in) study this, as do Anthropologists.

Sociology views it in a few conflicting ways. But the bottom line is that without clear boundaries and societal goals, which the West has long since lost, a social will be overtaken by either a sub-group who does or an outside social in need of expansion.

    2. PRDos

I think it’ll start in California first. And the Beltway and Mid-Atlantic.

Westerners cannot be awoken. We are like the lotus-eaters of Xuthal in Robert E. Howard’s Conan stories.

      1. I don’t think it ever wasn’t in CA, or Texas, or the entirety of the SW. The other areas are merely a by-product of separate spheres creating faux-familiarity.

For that matter the line of logic illuminates a certain truth in that we’ve likely never been a coherent nation. No definition of multi-culture can be. A culture requires a unified people with a societal goal. We don’t have that, we’ve never had that, and any ideology that allows for anything other than homogeneity of identity is therefor circular, offering no solution better than the mire we face.

The social construction of race is a tale of tribes that, over time, melted into recognition of color alone as an identifier removing the relevant element of separate cultures. Culture is the real identity. I must clarify with the urgency to not confuse this with the common justifications of inequality or the associated labels of ‘hate’, but rather the very positivist argument concerning dominant ideology. This points out that competing groups contain competing ideologies of which will not and cannot be resolved through persuasion alone (Both Pure Capitalism and Western Socialist Capitalism seeks this gentle persuasion, think about that).

Detractors would no doubt claim this logic racist, but I’m merely reiterating Marx’s dominating ideology thesis and Gramsci’s theory of cultural hegemony.

  10. It is interesting to watch the US empire collapse. Our immigration issue is just part if it. Add in some other telltale items like redistribution of wealth and the Elite oligarchy in DC; are we following the Romans as they switched from the Republic of Rome to the Empire of Rome.

There are a lot if similarities. If the direction holds true, I wonder who will be our Caesar who crosses our Rubicon/ Potomac.

    All fun crap.

      1. Ncscout, if you have time explain what you reference when you write, “The parallels of the debasement of currencies…”. That might be a interesting thing to look into.

      2. The Romans, over time, went from having pure metals (gold, silver, copper, etc.) as currency to having only plated currencies. The citizenry and territory expanded to the point that there wasn’t enough wealth to cover the actual economic costs, hence it became debased.

I’m NOT anything close to an economist, either. But I’ve always found that parallel the largest and most telling.

I’ve heard many economists argue to the points of diversifying the base of economy when justifying the removal of the gold standard- saying that now all material (including oil) backs the currency in your pocket. That may be true at a certain macro-level, but it’s enabled the largest bubble in human history.

      3. I never knew that ncscout. Something for me to look into and to see how it plays in empires past collapse.

On another note: I remember that my father who was an accountant was very upset with President Nixon for taking the US Dollar off the gold standard in a global non-war period. He drew a comparison to when the UK did it (He was a naturalized US citizen from Scotland). He felt it signaled the UK’s loss of empire status.

Because we left the gold standard, due to inflation and other hidden taxes, many economists believe the dollar today vs. 1971 is worth less than 19¢. OUCH!

Another nail driven into the coffin of collapse of the US empire. The EU too.

      4. Calsdad

RE: Parallels of the debasement of currency.

Go check out Martin Armstrong’s blog at http://www.armstrongeconomics.com/blog/ – he’s got a number of articles in there about how failing empires always debase the currency, with the historical examples to back up the claim.

You might have to scroll thru – but I know he has had a few different posts about it within the last 6 months.

      5. Calsdad

another good source for currency debasement just came to mind:

http://www.mises.org – deals mostly with Austrian economics. I know there are some articles there about about how currency debasement

  11. I applaud your diplomacy and assertiveness, even in the classroom of Marxist ideologues. I once heard a white professor at the institution you attend, state to a class, ” It is impossible for any person of color to be prejudiced.” I was too shocked to rebut.

    1. Such arguments appeal only to emotion- you can’t win with leftists on that note.

Numbers- numbers alone do that. You can’t deny science. At least, that’s what they like to tell us when convenient.

    2. B Woodman

I think the best and only rebut you can give to such mindless RACISM is to laugh – long, loud, and often – as you walk out of the classroom.
One – Libtard Scrotialists hate to be laughed at. (I just made up this word. If it’s already been created by others, good. Feel free to use and spread around in daily conversation)
Two – it will make everyone else wonder what you know, that they don’t.

PS – Hopefully this won’t affect your classroom grade…..

    3. Calsdad

The rebuttal is: Please explain that. And them MAKE him (or her) explain the dynamics of how it’s impossible.

      1. My reply, the times I’ve been met with such a phrase (normally accompanying a Hegelian-Marx argument, since that’s all they know) is that tribal recognition is a function of the human brain and the larger pyschosocial makeup of the body social- recognition of the tribe, accompanying hostility to those not is is an inherent part of our nature- thus, to deny that one recognition must exist, but cannot in another, is to infer that developmentally one must be inferior to the other that does. It is therefor absurd to assert equality among humans, while maintaining an underlying unequal stance.

I’m normally met with a blank stare, along with a regurgitated statement regarding white male dominance, etc…but no rebuttal.

  12. CB

“…anyone ever heard of AQ Khan?” I asked, met with the normal blank stares…”

Understanding who AQ Khan is, but not understanding the exact connection meant here, please pardon the thickness of my skull. Would you kindly educate me on the connection between the upper portion of your paper and this last line.
Thank you in advance and for your great blog.

    1. AQ Khan built a nuclear centrifuge from parts stolen in Sweden, which he obtained by marrying a Swedish woman to obtain a work visa.

  13. Jim

“Do me a favor, think on that, and look up Sweden’s crime database, the bra.se, and reference the sexual assault rates. Note the data for 2016 has not yet been published.”

Hm. It’s April… do you have a feel for how rapidly the database is updated after the turn of they year? If it’s overdue then it’s certainly a bad sign !

  14. This is happening here and in the EU by design. The swedes are especially vulnerable. I wonder if there is enough cohesiveness in this country to make a change. IHMO, there is little hope for Europe. Words cannot expressed the disgust and disappointment.

  15. Being “nice” often gets you killed.
I saw this girl’s picture in the dictionary next to — Pathological Altruism
And snake said to the dying good Samaritan that he just bit,” Yo silly woman, you knew I was a snake when you let me in.”

  16. The parallels between the Fall of Rome and these presently united States are alarming, to those who study history.

    Imprimus-
    Debasement of currency, together with tax-farming and excess spending on non-productive infrastructure was one major factor weakening the Empire. As noted above, these presently united States and their Federal government are for the most part following in Imperial Rome’s footsteps, looting the productive to serve political cronies and their masters;

    Secundus-
moral corruption, together with political corruption, weakened the martial ardor and willingness to fight of Imperial Rome, resulting in the need to import barbarians who WERE willing to fight. At first, these immigrants were inculcated with Roman culture as well as Roman strategy and tactics, and assimilated to greater or lesser extent in Roman culture. At first, Roman culture changed the immigrant. Later, as the volume of immigration increased, assimilation decreased, and at the end, Rome employed barbarian armies as mercenaries, who learned military tactics and strategy, but not Roman culture.

I need not touch upon the political and moral corruption of these presently united States and especially their Federal government, which is thoroughly corrupted, but consider- In these presently united States, the Federal armed forces are recruiting MS-13 and other gang members, teaching them discipline and military skills, and releasing them with valuable military experience back to their gangs. Military veterans from the indigenous Western cultures, primarily Jacksonian, are sneered at, treated as third class citizens, and subjected to legal harrassment as a result of their service. History teaches me to expect foreign mercenary armies as the next step.

    Tertius-

Roman education during the early Republic was almost entirely home-based, and the father of the family was responsible for teaching his children. Later in the Republic, a system of private tutors sprang up, and as the economic burdens on Romans increased, increasingly Roman families hired educators and tutors to teach their young. As political and moral corruption progressed, fewer and fewer members of Roman society were taught as well as their ancestors, and the level of knowledge dropped.

The parallels to modern day Western civilization, and especially to these presently united States, are obvious to those who wish to see.

This is a war of ideas, and we are losing.
